Deep ultraviolet related dynamic of solid state laser source

Practical application of deep uv solid-state laser source equipment, access to less than 200 nanometres deep ultraviolet band, rely mainly on synchrotron radiation and incoherent light sources such as gas discharge.Though these light source has the advantage of short wavelength and band width, but expensive equipment, and the low energy resolution, the photon flux is small, low density is insufficient, can’t meet the need of deep ultraviolet frontier science equipment.

“Some of the synchrotron radiation equipment, cost nearly one hundred million yuan, the volume is very big also, practicality is poorer; deep uv solid-state laser not only greatly reduces the equipment cost, and better performance.”Xu Zuyan said.After more than three years of efforts, our scientists in the world for the first time successfully developed 8 sets of practical equipment, motors of deep uv solid-state laser sources.

It is 8 science instruments: deep ultraviolet laser Raman spectrometer, ultraviolet laser photochemical reaction, deep ultraviolet laser light emitting electron microscope, deep deep ultraviolet laser photoluminescence spectrometer, ultraviolet laser the spin Angle resolutions photoelectron spectrometer, photon energy adjustable deep ultraviolet photoelectron spectrometer, deep ultraviolet laser in situ electron spectrometer as well as the spatial and temporal resolution tunnel based on flight time energy analyzer of deep uv laser angular resolution photoelectron spectrometer.
